Sunworld takes a “customer-first approach” to both online and in-store retail and do our best to ensure a great customer experience.

In addition to this we will meet our obligations as detailed in the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and the New Zealand Fair Trading Act.

 

 

Can I return something I've purchased?

We are happy to offer a store credit, exchange, or refund on any item you've purchased from us, if it meets the criteria listed below. Simply contact us on 09 488 9395 or email sunworldtakapuna@gmail.com

 

 

Change of Mind

If you've had a change of heart about an item you have purchased, and not started yet using up your tanning minutes or collagen bed sessions, we’ll refund you within 7 days of purchase. Any purchased product that has been opened will not be valid for refund or exchange.

Medical reason - Sunbed Sessions

If you have a medical condition, that you need to keep out of the sun or sunbed, we’ll refund you within 7 days of purchase.

If after you started using our sunbeds you pick up a medical condition that means you can’t tan, we’ll refund you the value of the remaining tanning minutes on your concession card within 7 days of you informing us of your condition.

 

 

Photosensitive Medication - Sunbed Sessions

If you are on a long term photosensitive medication, and therefore you need to keep out of the sun or sunbed, we’ll refund you within 7 days of you informing us of your condition.

Fair Skin Type - Sunbed Sessions

When you come into Sunworld for your first session and if we find out after our Consultation process and skin type assessment that you have fair skin and burn easily you are not permitted to use our sunbeds. You will get a refund of your Concession card you purchased through our website.

 

 

Medical reason - Collagen Bed Sessions

If you have a medical condition, that you need to keep out of the collagen bed, we’ll refund you within 7 days of purchase.

If after you started using our collagen bed you pick up a medical condition that means you can’t use the bed, we’ll refund you the value of the remaining collagen bed minutes on your concession card within 7 days of you informing us of your condition.

Medication reason - Collagen Bed Sessions

If you are on a long term light sensitive medication, and therefore you need to keep out of the collagen bed, we’ll refund you within 7 days of you informing us of your condition. If you have used some of your treatment sessions, we’ll refund you the value of the remaining minutes on your concession card within 7 days.

Faulty Item - Products

If the item you have received is faulty, or becomes faulty within 4 weeks of purchase, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, and a photo if possible.

​

Incorrect Item/Damaged on Arrival - Products

If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 14 days of delivery. Please don't dispose of the item until we've had a chance to chat with you.
